This is the second week that the children have spent time chopping and cutting vegetables for our soup. My goal is that we will have soup at least once a week until it is too hot outside! Then maybe we will be cutting vegetables for salad?
The best part: It seems they are a lot more excited to eat it when they are involved in the preparation and they feel ownership over the lunch. They devoured this soup and I realized that we didn't chop nearly enough vegetables.
